Sapo është lëshuar versioni i ri stabël 2.1 i OpenOffice.org, suite me programe për zyra, rivali më i denjë i Microsoft Office.
Kalimi në versionin e ri u rekomandohet të gjithë përdoruesve të OpenOffice.org, pasi sjell përmirësime të ndjeshme në krahasim me të gjithë versionet paraardhës. Midis të tjerave:

• Eksport i përmirësuar Calc HTML

Të rejat dhe ndryshimet

Mesa duket plani orgjinal për lëshimin e versionit të ri stabël 4.0 të Debian GNU/Linux, parashikuar për në datën 4 dhjetor, nuk arriti të respektohej.
Ky vendim u mor për arsye të numrit akoma të madh të bugs akoma të pambyllur (rreth 600) dhe nga problemet që ndeshen akoma gjatë përdorimit të instaluesit të ri grafik.

Si rrjedhim, duhet pritur Janari që të shpresojmë në lëshimin e e versionit të ri 4.0.

• Nexuiz
• xen e vserver kernel
